And then there was another girl. Y'all she is something else. Beck is so many things. She is brave. She is helpful. She is hard headed. She is messy. SO MESSY. She is my follower. She loves make up and high heels. That has been consistent over the years. So dressing up for the Father Daughter dance was right up her alley. I think they had a great time.
She is also the kid who can't walk a tenth of a miles without complaining that her legs hurt. BUT...she ran/walked a 5k with her friends. She was THE LAST ONE to finish. But you know what? SHE FINISHED. And I was so proud of her.
We went to the grammy museum and the train museum in Cleveland, MS for spring break.
June brought camp. The girls wanted colored hair to take with them. Of course B chose pink. I think this made her whole summer.
She has made some pretty amazing friends at camp. It is really something she looks forward to all year. This year she almost made it to the very top of the rock wall. She has been doing pull ups on her dad's pull up bar since camp so she can be strong enough to make it to the top.
It's also funny to me that horseback riding is one of her favorite activities. She hates to be dirty or sweaty But horses is always on her list.
She had the best time at the beach Like always. The most fund. And LOVES to be a mermaid in the sand.
We also went to the lake in August. Spending time with cousins is also one of her favorite past times. She is so good with the littles. And has found a new love in the lake.
Then school started.
And she ran a mile with her camp friends.
Beck decided that she wanted to tumble. And when she got it in her head that she wanted to learn how to do a back handspring, nothing else would do. And her determination was awesome. I haven't ever seen her put hard work in like this for anything else.
And in true Beck fashion, she decided to be Audrey from Descendants for Halloween.
One of my most favorite things about her is that while she cares that other people think she is "cool", she has her own style. And she OWNS it. The tiara is a staple piece in her accessories. And I LOVE this about her. Her confidence in her appearance is 100!
We went to Gatlinburg. And I think she had the most fun of all of us.
And when we got back from Gatlinburg, she got to see Santa. And spend a few hours with her friends.
I try to make Christmas as magical as possible by doing as many Christmasy things as possible with the kids. We went to see Cororio's choir concert at the Convention Center.
We went to Zoo Lights.
And so much more. She had been asking for a gymnastics mat for months. MONTHS. She could nto have been more thrilled to have gotten one from Santa Claus.
This little spunky chick has a great year. And I know 2020 will bring nothing but the best.
