The girls have been enjoying playing outside this summer...much to my dismay. It has been miserably HOT!
One of the favorite things to do is help their daddy with the garden.
Picking veggies.
and watering.
We have had an awesome garden this year. Tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers were the best they've been in years and our okra always does great. We even got a bucket full of red potatoes and are still waiting on our sweet potatoes (can't wait!). Our squash didn't fare too well, but we were able to make a few squash casseroles to freeze before we had to pull the plants ups.
Now I can't wait for our fall crop...Turnip Greens and Mustard Greens...YUM-MO!
