A Taylor Thanksgiving

I think this was the busiest Thanksgiving weekend EVER! It was full of family, friends, and fun...so that makes the hustle and bustle all okay. Maybe feeling like a whale doesn't help things. You know...waddling everywhere. Fun stuff.

So on to the deets. We spent Thanksgiving day in Taylor with my dad's (aka: Pops) side of the family. It is rare that all 5 brothers are at the same place at the same time and we have managed to accomplish this feat not once, not twice, but 3 times this year.

Aunt Cindy, the ultimate entertainer, had a red background with stick things so we could all make funny photos.

And my girls got to play with some of their favorite cousins.

Aunt Cindy also had all kinds of things for the young kids to play with.

Sweet Caroline gave me a break from tending to.

And the day wouldn't be complete without the annual cornhole game.

I even attempted to get a Christmas card photo.

But the girls decided to be silly and strike a pose instead.

Do you see this photo? All 5 brothers.

And this was their idea of a silly photo.

Love our family.

Mucho difficult to get a good photo of that many people and that many kids. So this one will do.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather. He made it to Thanksgiving. But this morning he fell and broke his hip. He is having surgery in the morning. So prayers much appreciated.

I'm already looking forward to the next Thanksgiving in Taylor. Always so much fun!
